Book with a beard is a private publishing venture run by photographer Jörg Koopmann. It's first release is "Cat Seen". The website is programmed using Html + CSS. It is extended using Java Script for the order form. At the order form customers entries are checked and an popup will show up when an entry is missing. The HTML and CSS is plain and extendable in order if more books will be published.
In December 2008 I went to Cologne to consult a designer from the Institute of Design - Düsseldorf in Joomla questions. He was asking for consultation in Joomla templating and database transfer question and some others as well. We had a 4 hour session and nearly all questions have been answered. In a second session, which was done using telephone and screen sharing, we set the website up and transferred it online.
The website of the Clanconnel Brewing Company was built with the Drupal CMS. Additinally an age check was developed using Java Script and HTML. The website comes with a product presentation, information pages, guestbook, news section, etc. The website is in line with the entire corporate design using the same styles, colous and fonts, set up before.
The Shirts of Berlin online design was now put onther step forward. The communication towards the customers is now very clear. The colours used are friendly, attractive and dominant. The layout is pretty straight forward. The tempalte is split up in many parts or so called subtemplates.
The template was build from an HTML dummy. It is valid xHtml and CSS. For the menu I used suckerfish with additional Jquery based Java script. The template will be used on the new Staufenbiel Personalberatung website which is build by Christian Jackmuth.
For the Clanconnel Brewing Company's new product I developed a bottle's front and rear label. The front label shows the logo very prominent. It was the demand to keep the design traditional in a modern way. Like the logo different shapes and colours where used. The demand on the background was a more official one. Ingredients, barcode, best before date and so on had to be shown.
