For the Clanconnel Brewing Company's new product I developed a bottle's front and rear label. The front label shows the logo very prominent. It was the demand to keep the design traditional in a modern way. Like the logo different shapes and colours where used. The demand on the background was a more official one. Ingredients, barcode, best before date and so had to be shown.
The business stationeries for the Clanconnel Brewing Company were designed keeping consistency in mind. I’m using the same font settings and distances at their letter head, compliment slip and business card. The logo and the mission statement are centred, this uses up more space and makes the logo look more prominent and powerful. Only the logo contains colours. This reflects my philosophy to keep the business stationary discreet.
Biesdorf-City.de was designed as a website about the dormitory “Victor Jara” Berlin Biesdorf. In 2007 the Studentenwerk-Berlin launched their official site and Biesdorf-City.de became obsolete. In 2008 Biesdorf-City.de was re-launched with many additional features. It came with a multi user blog, a presentation of the dormitory, a gallery, location and events, news aggregation of Berlin related sites and community features. It offers basic community function like profile, avatars, content subscription, comments, etc.
The given HTML / CSS layout was transfered to a Drupal 6.x conform theme. The theme is called "Spa & Garden" and it's output is valid xHTML / CSS.
Worsted-Knitt.net is a knitting blog. The layout is a standard 2 subcolumn layout. It has additional features which a modern blog needs, like for example archive, header preview, gallery, user friendly url's, easy navigation, etc. It's a Drupal installation using many different additional modules like CCK, Thickbox, etc. The Worsted-Knitt.net logo was designed by me as well.
There are many different shop systems around. The one I'm using most is Übercart. It is one of the best open source shopping systems I have seen so far and it comes with a lot of benefits. For me it was important that I could style the entire site the way I wanted and that I can extend it in many different directions. I needed a Blog, so that I can release news and I needed an easy to use system.
